Why would my battery randomly die?

I tried to start it just now, wouldn't go. Ended up pushing it up my driveway into the garage, very hard task.

It's been raining and for some reason I have a leak dripping off the under dash wiring on the driver's side,

Seems like the **** in front

Seems like the **** in front of the windsheild but behind the hood on the outside is leaking down. It's dripping off some black thing down my main bundle of wires to the fuse box,

I wonder if my battery is toast or what.

leak

my rabbit would leak into the starter relay and fuel pump relay and fill them up - heard that some rabbits used to start up all by themselves. Nasty if you were in gear when you park - no safety interlock on the clutch in those days.

Charge up the battery and see how long it takes - it may be ok and was drained by a short under the dash.
