Ten bucks there is a little vacuum/egr sort of problem in it. Passing & failing so close to each other it's likely they threw "guaranteed to pass" in the gas. I don't think I would shell out $4000 for it though. It would have to be nearly showroom new for me to shell out that sort of money on a VX with that high of mileage. Get $3000 or lower and it's much more likely.

Looking at the price, this VX must be from SF-Bay Area or LA. I only see VX price that high in Cali. Good for us VX owners bad for the potential buyer.

Do the math that pertains to you. When I did my math for my VX (was driving an Audi A8), it took 10 months of money saved on gas to pay off the amount of money used to purchase the VX. Anything after that is mulah in my pocket.

lol A8 to VX -- never thought I'd see the day. I love it.

I've seen mint Fed VXes for $3,000 with 92,000 miles for what that's worth selling in Oregon.

Most of the VX's I see around the SF Bay area have been modified in some way. It's really hard to find an unmolested VX, nevermind finding one at a reasonable price.
And then there's the issue of Cali smog laws. From what I've heard, we don't get the lean burn system, so our FE isn't as good.
