95 VX.. will not start. Died in reverse.

Yeah, the videos I posted should help you diagnose which component in the ignition is failed.

You 'may' worst case have issues with wiring or distributor itself; however it may only be an igniter or ignition coil(instead of an entire distributor). Do the tests in the videos I linked, be sure you ARE NOT the path to ground. Verify the engine grounds are in tact for kicks.

If you pull a spark plug after cranking, do you see wetness and gasoline smell?

...and for kicks, battery voltage/amp readings are what?

Here's another thought . . . Roll it down a hill and bump start it! But make sure you can tow it back up the hill with some other vehicle. Just an idea in case the starting circuit has a problem.

Have you checked the coil? You can do this with a multimeter.

The coil on my VX died. Started the car and then shut it off after a few seconds. Tried to start again a few minutes later and it was dead. No spark. The coil was the problem. I replaced the module first though. Since I've had a few modules drop dead on prior Hondas I had to choose between replacing the module or the coil. Found a cheap one on ebay and it's been fine now for a couple years.

By module, do you mean igniter? The part the coil sits on top of?

I found my issue. I followed the testing here... http://www.team-integra.net/forum/bl...eshooting.html

and it turned out to be the ICM in my case. I could not get the primary coil test to give me the correct result so I had replaced that first but it was not the issue.
