As far as covering the front of the car ..I don't know.
This is plastic we are talking about and plastic melts ( and catches fire ) next to hot engines.

If I cover under my engine I plan to have a section of aluminim under the actuall hot bits. I did this once before. I created a full belly pan extending from the front bumper all the way to the door of the car.
I used aluminum bracing and riveted aluminum sheet metal to it.
When driven along, it all worked great, but when the car sat at idle ( like at a stoplight ) it made a horrible rattling sound from the vibrations in the sheetmetal.
I soon removed it. ( I was also worried about the effects of water puddles and other objects ripping the sharp metal off and hurling it into the guy behind me . )

Have you thought of lowering the car ?
Cars always look good lowered.
I plan to lower mine as much as I can get away with.

Scotch tape.

I used some short metal tapping screws. I just made sure to think ahead of where they would poke up at.

Also you can really take advantage of the frame and drill right into that as well.
I then tucked the stuff under the plastic body panel that is just under the door.

Well, my accord is actually quite low as is. If I go any lower, I'll be afraid of speed bumps and dirt roads!

Your the second person I've heard mention that coroplast underneath has quited down the ride. Where do you actually get coroplast though? I went to Home depot and asked the guy, only to get a funny look back.

Go to a recycling center and pick it up for free. Roadside signs tht litter the roads are made with the stuff.
You can also go to a sign shop and pay money ( ... but why ? )

Here are some images of my slapped on panels. This is after around 4-6 months of neglect. :

The high drag region where the cat is needs attention.

.

.

The skull&crossbones serve to remind me that there is a gas tank under there !
I used the tanks straps to hold the stuff on so I wouldn't have to drill into the gas tank ( DUH ! )

As you can see, it needs help. Would you believe that is just black duct tape that I used to smooth out that knuckle joint supension thingee ? It still hasn't come off.
