There are rare times when I have to perform some repetitive heavy braking (I know, not FE friendly, but a part of some volunteer work).
I haven't heard much on the topic, but how about ventilation/cooling of the brake components? I've had warped rotors on almost every car previous -- and this one doesn't suffer that problem (finally).
I have had this problem mainly on front drive cars. More so with my domestic's. I think it stems from more from the rotors being to thin and most of all bad braking habits. I've had to turn the rotors on my saturn once already(there were warped from the PO). I also use a torque wrench on my lugnuts up front.
