Small modification - thoughts please

Just a small mod but easy to do. I hope the before and after pictures explain my intention. That is, to angle these lower spoiler end pieces outwards so they cover up a little of the front tyre and perhaps deflect airflow away.
Resulting gaps between wing and repositioned pieces to be filled in with plastic sheet or something.
But is this likely to be beneficial or to create more drag than it relieves, do we think?
Any comments or other suggestions welcome!

As long as you can fill in those gaps, it certainly looks worthwhile.

BTW - What decision did you come to on the "EVO copy VG"?

Hi SL8Brick, I may give it a go. The gaps I intend to fill are those resulting from angling the piece out ie top, bottom and back of the end piece - not the triangular gap you see face-on. I can't do that 'invisibly'. As for the VG thing, I decided against. Enough people point and stare at my car as it is.

Well, you can't let that bother you. Just because the majority of the people out there lack the intellect to understand aeromods in the name of FE, that doesn't mean you can't experiment. Besides, when someone points at your car & laughs...just point at your "petrol" gauge and laugh right back at `em.

I was trying to hold back my mods at first, but when I looked outside while visiting mom and saw my step-father and his buddy from next door walking around my car pointing, poking and pulling on things, I decided to just go all out.

Besides I can still point at Basjoos.
