Using EVO Application

A few magazines covered this. Who knows if it really works...if it does, why aren't more automakers using it

because maybe it only works

because maybe it only works at high speeds??
these cars are not made for fuel economy, they are made for performance.

Some aero stuff doesn't work for us because we don't attain high speeds.

I was talking about the little nubs on the roof

Mitsubishi says that it would help to reduce drag. Just an idea, just because it is for performance doesn't mean we can't use it. (not the wing, the things on the roof ~ I dont know what to call them)

Here is a little explaination from the Phil Knox from the Toyota Tundra discussion.

Phil Knox:
Your hatchback has a station wagon type wake of turbulent air, however, it is free of attached vortices.The sedans wake actually begins at the end of the roof as flow which cannot follow the steep backlight angle separates. Also, while this flow may reattach at the end of the trunklid where the main wake begins, the radical pressure gradients and violent mixing zones caused by velocity discrepancies between dide flow and rooftop flow can cause attached vortices which can trail the car by hundreds of feet,robbing horsepower from the engine.

Not worth it, cool though

and found out that the generators reduce drag by .006 and downforce onto the spoiler similarly.

it might not be...

It might not be the nicest looking car around, but it has supercar-like speed on a tight racetrack.
