Power levels are not the same for those cells from B S as are in the Prius battery.

Yup, the B S ones supposedly have more energy. Not sure about the ability to take higher discharge rates like ~2-10C. Supposedly it's possible, but I'd want to test 'em first.

I heard this on the way to work yesterday on the radio and new it had to be BS. I still would rather drive a smaller internal combustion engine for the cost of a prius though. I dream of the 1L Yaris engine or 1.3L diesel Yaris engine comming over to the states. Someday, when I have my college debt paid off, I want to buy a used Yaris and put the 1.0L from Japan in it and get 65mpg.

so wait. the prius over 100k miles is $3.25 and the hummer over 100k miles $5.85. wait wait, last time i check $3.25 < $5.85

also the last time i checked, the aveo gets crap gas mileage for where it stands, why are they advocating it? and how the hell do they think they are getting away with recommending it without publishing how the aveo performs? i mean really, spitting distance is .5 mpg.
