I'm working on the 2020 relaunch of the Aptera - Remember it from Jay Leno's Garage?

We're helping to market the relaunch of Aptera, which had a mention on this forum a couple of years ago.

Without spamming the board with links about what we're doing and the ongoing crowdfunding effort...

I wanted to hear the community's thoughts on this special EV and if they'd support the relaunch?

I thought the Aptera was dead and gone. What is the UK involvement?

Nope, it's still alive. It will be available in the UK and Spectrum did a pretty good review on the relaunch and what to expect:

Nice to see it!

I recall seeing the Aptera when it was originally announced and was impressed with the aerodynamic design. The low coeff. of drag and seemingly light weight has to make it one of the most efficient vehicles out there. Plus it looks like it would be a lot of fun to drive.

It would be nice to see a relaunch of this car. With the steady rise of interest in EVs in recent years, maybe it's time?

It's pretty different, I like different, but like the vw XL1, this will probably end up as a rare and extortionatly overpriced vehicle, if we even see it in the UK?
