Where does my power come from?

Link from the gov to find out where your power comes from by percentage, very cool!
http://www.epa.gov/cleanenergy/energ...how-clean.html
I found this while digging for my electric harley project, over in the fuel economy projects section.

Re: Where does my power come from?

My area:
5.9% non-hydro renewable
4.5% hydro
27.9% nuclear
4.2% oil
40.8% gas
15.1% coal

Those are above national average except:
Hydro (below)
Coal (way, way below)

Our emissions are all below national average.

Re: Where does my power come from?

the site is flawed. OUC(orlando utility commission) takes care of orlando and many surrounding towns, including mine...it wasn't a choice for my zip code!

i suspect orlando(OUC) gets most from gas and coal...likely WAY above average!

Re: Where does my power come from?

progress energy, the only choice given for my area, was above average in gas and oil, but not coal. hydro and renewable were almost non existent.
