Another top-10 suggestion

Purely out of self interest, I've been wondering whether the top-10 lists should be reserved for "regular" GS users.

IE if you haven't participated in the forum in the past 30 days (or 15 or 60... whatever), should your vehicle be rewarded with a top 10 spot?

I had been thinking about asking this but without looking like it was a way to move up the list.

Hey - if the list is one of the things that keeps you motivated, there's no shame in wanting to refine it!

On another forum we have list on people time slips and there an option there to list for diff stats such as 1/8 mile time, mph, 1/4 time and mph, 60' time.

maybe have someone keep track of list and "prune" it when needed.

I say we give people the choice to opt out of the competition. I'm sure there are many who just use it to track, and others who like to compete but aren't very yappy, we wouldn't want to take away their fighting spirit, you know?

On another note, we should have more breakdowns in the gaslog, like, total GS FE, and averahe yaris FE, stuff like that...

Could potentially solve the non-yappy issue with last gas log date, or by last log-in date.

I like the lists. I could come up with half a dozen suggestions

But I don't want to overwhelm Our Fearless Leader.

I could audit a php class next term and learn how to do it myself, , I really want to, after all.

And you can can shot me know but what about adding diesel to the list?

Either way I agree that is should be a longer total, and not one tank wonders. Not that I doubt people get really great one tank mileage, but isn't this board about consistantly getting better mileage? I like the idea of a 30 day or even 90 day running total.
