Change ownership ?
I sold one of the vehicles in my garage and during the sale discovered the buyer is also on fuelly. How can I transfer ownership of the vehicle to his garage? I thought I saw a link to do that some time ago but now that I need it I can't find it. Sharing is not really appropriate.

I'm not sure about the link, but you could just save all the info to a .CSV file then he can import it into his account if he would like all of your fuel ups listed under his name. Maybe one of the mods could chime in about the link? I couldn't find anything.

Sorry for the delay in responding. We were researching this and it's something we do plan on allowing in the future but wont be able to implement right away.
However, I've always suggested what Matt715 said, export your data to CSV and then have the new owner create a profile for the vehicle and import the data you send them.

Ok so now that Transfer ownership is an option, I did this with a fellow Fuelly member. It transferred the ownership, but the car still shows up in my garage as well as his, with his name on it. Is this a bug, or, how do I remove it from my garage when there's no longer an "edit vehicle" option for me?

When did you do the transfer? There was a bug where it was doing what you described, but I thought we fixed it a month ago. We can remove it from your profile though.

Thanks RobertV, that would be hugely appreciated. We did the transfer a few months ago, so it's possible the fix hadn't been implemented yet.
