Combine duplicate models?

Can we combine duplicate models. for instance on the Suzuki Dr650. Everything 1996 and newer is a DR650se yet there is an option for a dr650 se and a dr650se so the vehicles are split between two identical models with only difference being a space in the name.

We plan to. Right now we're focusing on integrating the mobile apps.
Afterwards, we have a plan to do some major cleaning up of the vehicle models.
