Delete vehicles?

I had a vehicle that I never even got to drive and now I've sold it but there's absolutely no way to remove a vehicle, only to 'retire'. What does retire even mean, it still shows up everywhere.

I guess if I ever get another car I can just change all the descriptions and make my old car into that one, it's just odd to do.

I know I you leave the name blank it won't show up on the forum. Someone might have a better solution.
