Fully Not Recognizing Initial Odometer Reading

Can't figure out why Fuelly isn't recognizing my fill-up for my new car; My Outback. I created an initial fill-up and included staring odometer, but Fuelly doesn't input that initial odometer reading on the second fill-up. How do I fix this.

It doesn't. It calculates the second input using the odometer from the first but doesn't display it.

I glanced at your dashboard. Are you sure you input miles for your second fuel up as I can't see any? Fuelly cannot work out the fuel used over a certain distance with out the miles.

I'm tracking by inputting odometer reading, not by inputting miles. Fuelly isn't recognizing (or showing) the initial odometer reading I entered after topping off from the dealership. Miles travelled isn't being calcuated because Fuelly isn't seeing the first odometer reading. First odometer reading was 39658. Second full fill-up was 40052, or so.

I am unfamiliar with this method of tracking. Have you tried editing the fuel up and seeing if "partial fuel up" was accidentally checked? And have you tried deleting it and re-entering just incase you entered the odometer reading wrong (this has happened with other users in the past).

I'm with Draigflag on that. If you use the total odometer reading Fuelly works out and displays the trip miles anyway. As you have only two fill ups input I would delete them and input then again. Make sure the first is an initial fill and the second IS NOT a partial top up.

Please explain how to do this. There's absolutely no botton or box to check to tell fuelly that one fillip is an initial fill-up vs a normal fuel-up. I have NOT checked "partial fill-up".

I've tracked mileage on three vehicles on fully, one of them by odometer readings, don't recall having such an issue. Fuelly needs to make it more user friendly.

I believe you only get that when you first add a vehicle to your garage.
