Hi gbranyan (and welcome to Fuelly),
You're tracking via Odometer. Is this the option you want? You wont receive MPG on the first fuel-up logged because this is your starting point. Fuelly doesn't know how many miles you've traveled if you've only entered the starting point.

Now, if you meant that you traveled 529 miles on that 12.66 gallons of fuel, then you're wanting to track by Trip Meter. Simply edit the vehicle and switch your tracking method. You'll want to delete the first fuel-up and then re-enter it just so going forward, the math is calculated correctly for you.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Not sure I'm following. Are you having a similar issue as the OP?

Hi! I just entered a fuel-up from over this weekend, but it didn't update any of the stats -- average price per gallon, mpgs, etc. Is that a blip due to the recent site overhaul? It sounds like a similar issue to the one that feetdry is having. Thanks!

No, not an issue/bug/blip.

Your fuel-log:
http://www.fuelly.com/car/volkswagen...ler/292264/log

July 23- marked as a Partial Fill (no MPG calculated on partial's or the one after)
July 26- no MPG since it follows a Partial
July 28- no MPG since it was marked as a Partial
Next fuel up will not calculate MPG either since it's following a Partial.

More info why Fuelly needs you to fill your tank completely in order to calculate MPG- http://www.fuelly.com/faq/3/Why-do-I...all-the-way-up

I don't think this is/was feetdry's concern, since their vehicle doesn't show any Partial fills and all entries have MPG calculated.

Oh! I didn't realize that the fill-ups following a partial were not calculated either. But that makes sense. Thanks for checking it out!
