Need Options to set AWD, 4 Wheel Drive, 2 Wheel Drive

As an owner of all 4WD or AWD, when researching vehicles on here, I have no way of determining if the guy that reports 25mpg in his 2014 Ram 2500 is a 4WD or a 2WD. It makes a big difference!
Thanks for the great web site (just now loading the App to my I-Phone)

Thanks for the suggestion.

We do have plans to start requiring users to input as much detail about their vehicle as possible so we can get better/cleaner/more useful data. This will help those of us, like yourself, who wish to compare vehicles be able to narrow down the results based on specific options.

At the moment, we're focused on building/integrating our mobile apps to Fuelly, but once that wraps up, we'll be able to start knocking out our To-Do list for the website.

That's a great idea - especially as vehicles like Nissan Jukes come in either 2WD or 4WD.
Would the Honda variable system be down as AWD? I guessed it was when entering our CRV. I get 40 mpg out of her, but can count the times I've felt all 4 wheels kicking on one hand!

Also, selectable 4WD need to be an option....?!
Our old Terrano had a selector, so spent nearly all the time in 2WD, but more time in 4WD than the Honda as you would physically select it on a bad weather day.
This, plus bigger diesel engine, worse aero and higher clearance meant best i could expect was 27 mpg, and usually less.

Even when driven in 2wd all the time, a part-time 4wd system will have some efficiency loss compared to the straight 2wd.

Nice to be able to note how often it is used for personal records. Likely of little importance to others researching vehicles.
