no average mpg bar graph for motorcycle models

Why doesn't the site offer the mean mpg graph for motorcycles like it does for cars? Select a car model in 'browse vehicles' and you'll see there's a bar graph with all the average mpg's posted. Then browse any motorcycle model and you don't get the graph...

We just haven't had enough motorcycles in the system to make a per-model graph helpful. You can usually just scan the page and get a sense of the 3-5 models listed quickly. There are a handful of models that have over 10 listed so we're probably getting to the point where it would be helpful.

Not to mention there are like 3 model names for the same motorcycle. Look at all the Honda Shadows, so many of them can be condensed, for example there is no correct model name for the VLX model. Closest one is "Honda VT600 C Shadow" yet I chose "Honda Shadow 600" because more people would know the bike by that, plus it has more users under it. Honda's designation is simply "Honda VT600C". There are a variety of models labeled just "Honda Shadow"...

I'm not complaining, because it's user driven and you're bound to have this happen, just shows you how bike models are not clearly designated. You would never know what to call my bike other than "Honda Shadow" just by looking at. This makes getting collective data really hard.

Luckily I don't have this issue with other Genuine Buddy users

Yep, Motorcycles are very difficult to distill to specific model names and we just let users run the show over there.

We're very strict about it in the car section and we still have problems crop up. Once there's a wrong branch for a specific model, it's not easy for us to consolidate on the backend. So that's something we're working to fix, but it's also why many custom models don't make it into public listings. People think of their car as a "Honda Civic Snowflake S10 Custom Limited", but in reality we'd like everything under "Honda Civic" for comparison and leave the trim levels to the descriptions.

But motorcycles, yeah, not nearly as clear cut.
