SCAMMER on gassavers.org

VX

These Nigerians are infiltrating every corner of the internet now, not just craigslist. This is the first time I've gotten a PM from a scammer. Wow.

He messaged me under the username "relly" and he has 0 posts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello

I am interested in buying the VX that you have placed for sell now, and I would want to enquire about the present condition of the above mentioned, as well as some detail about you. I expect this timely enough.

As for the payment, I would need you to get back in touch with the last asking price as I will be paying with a certified cheque.

Lastly, please forward to me your full company's (or house address, telephone and fax) details as I will subsequently prefer reaching you through these facilities.

Yours interestingly,

Raymond Griffiths

Should you need to reply to me, Please get back in touch with your
details to me at:tex000144@yahoo.com.co for a quick reply.

WATCH OUT FOR SCAMMERS! THEY'RE IN OUR OWN BACKYARD NOW.

I've seen Nigerian spam in posts, but not in a PM. That member and their IP should be banned immediately.

I googled him. Surely it wasn't this guy- http://www.raymondgriffiths.co.uk/

Did he ask if it was right hand drive?

Doesn't sound like it...it seems this person has done some rather interesting things to the Queen's English...

I've played along with one of those before. I mailed him a box with bricks using his shipping label and I kept asking where my check is and it never came. Then, I got this e-mail from him saying I was going to prison for fraud and such and I asked once again "Where is my check?"

Never heard from him again.
