0-60 in 5, 23mpg!

So I did a few aero mods like Kitcar. I take my truck out fo ra spin and come to a red light. Next to me is a Subaru 2.5RS, may have been a turbo. The light turns green, we pull away. Next thing you know, he wants to go fast, so I stomp on it and that little buggar held on to me to 50mpg but couldn't hang on to 60! I beat him When I let off I see my gauge reading 23mpg.

So the next red light he's next to me but there are cars in front of us so no more racing. So I let him know my displeasure by doing a quick break burn and his chick gives a quick laugh

The plate on that little Soobie, "QT PIE" I hope that was for her!

If it was an RS, then it wasn't a turbo. The turbo models are the WRX and STi. That is of course assuming that this guy hadn't done any modifications to his car.

Anyways, nice job on your win, and still getting 23 mpg doing it ain't too bad either!

I think the car was about a 2001. I was looking at one one time but it was too pricey, and it wasn't a turbo. This one I could hear something screaming under the hood. Coulda been the engine saying "shift you ba$tard, shift!" but I had him all the was and that was after a short roll out to keep it from spinning the wheels.

Cool... is the Aero Cap fiberglass? Was it difficult to make? Did you use a mold?
Tom.

No, I just designed it on the computer and made it one weekend. It's just plywood with 1x2" stringers. $52 worth of materials.
