Blindingly Obvious - Rear View Anti-Ice Device

I tied some plastic shopping sacks around my mirrors to keep tonights ice storm off them.

Duh...Wonder why I didn't think of it before.

Hope it helps you. Better git-r-done before the ice store gets there.

you can also get what look like shower caps for a cat, for going over bowls of leftover food, they come in a wide range of sizes, a pair of those would work well too, and they would stay in place without being tide.

what i do is take a tarp, open both front doors,, put tarp over windshield, close doors and after the ice just open one side and whip it off, walal instantly clean windshield, if you have a big enough tarp it can go accross the whoel roof and cover the rear window. yes bags over the mirrors help alot.

nah i hate heat, cold you can always put more cloths on but summer bah cant take too much off while in public it was a high of 33 today. sposta get down to mid 20's tonight and all the rain freeze. good thign i have a tarp over all my windows on my car! so all i haveta do is whip off the tarp start the car idle for a minute then go!

all u need is a tarp big enough to cover your windows and 4 milk jugs or used washer fluid bottles filled halfway with water tied to each cornner of the tarp and now you got yourself an awesome windshield "deicer" all ready. and you can store it in the trunk and open it back up at work so you never have to scrape your windows again
