Just got a reply from the E-mail I sent:

If I was guessing, I would think that it would be a V6 with automatic trasnmission. EPA is 17/21. Could be worse I guess.

HA! Nice work, Peakster.

Of course, the response conveniently omits the fact that he has one heck of a commute (weekly, by jet)!

And the trouble with the "could be worse" rationale is that 99% of the population can apply it to their particular situations.
