I saw that on the news last night!

I don't mind much though, I typically only drink beer that I brew myself, and my hops harvest was big enough this year that I have enough hops to last me for a while.

Sucks though, all those beautiful tasty hops burnt up.

I was thinking about trying to make my own.
Do you get good results . or is it horrid swill ?

My wife has brewed beer for us before, and it's turned out great. It wasn't carbonated, but I actually considered that a good thing.

My Mom makes great homemade wine -- it usually has more alcohol content of table wine, and is made from stuff around the farm (berries, dandelion, etc). I always get the sample the latest batch when I visit (which hopefully will be soon). Rather tasty and packs a punch at the same time

Hi rh77 -?great homemade wine?

I had some genuine italian friends and they made berry wine , and I tell you , It was rocket fuel. !
