Cold Snap

So it's been consistently in the 70's+ for several weeks.

As of a few days ago, the high was 34F and nighttime lows of 20 or lower -- and it has been stuck for several days. So far, it's the coldest week of April on record here.

Peakster -- can you arrange something that quits feeding us your cold air

Anyone else abnormally cold right now???

-Freezing in KC

Normals at this time of year in Saskatchewan are supposed to be around 10*C but it only reached -5*C today. It's been cold for over a week now.

How soon can you get it here, and it is easy to remove???

It's not technically an "Alberta Clipper", but the weather patterns are certainly drawing cold from up North. It's killin' my tank!

It's killing my tank too as you can tell by my signature. According to the map, it looks like the cold is coming from Baffin Island (around -25*C there today). The good news is that by next week, the temperatures are supposed to rise to normal, at least around here.

This morning it was 20F and the ground had some snow on it.

People near the great lakes are getting lots of lake effect snow (4-8" in spots). Is it April or December?

Today was pretty much limited to the Goldwing guys (and girls). Saw quite a few of those on the road today.
