I've chosen a name that I'm pleased with.
Introducing: Kyoto Chimera.
It's a combination of several attributes in one package, luxury and economy, spaciousness and nimbleness, at once practical and "unuseful", thus the reference to a chimera.
The Kyoto portion of the name continues my theme of GreenHouse Gas reduction by using lower carbon biodiesel as my fuel of choice.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions.
(ol trinken! I liked that one!)

Again?!?! What's with the quick turnover?
I sold the white 97 Passat diesel conversion wagon (Kyoto Camel too) for a very healthy profit. (The buyer is happy with the deal too.)
My wife has taken over the 05 Passat wagon and I.....
I bought a 1995 VW Cabrio and a rusted, salvage title, 1997 Jetta TDI.
Then I ripped the 2.0 gasoline engine out of the Cabby and plunked in the 1.9 TDI engine.
I just got it (legally) on the road today, have half a tank of biodiesel in it. It goes in the body shop on Monday for a guestimated 2 weeks, so I have some time before I add it to the garage with a fuel fill up data point.

But what to name it?
"bioCar"? I can re-arrange the letters from "Cabrio".
Other than that I'm drawing blanks and again I call on members for assistance in suggestions of even of thought promoting commentary.
Fire away!

Click on the "Oily Rag" link to see some images.

Oily Rag?

I remember The RoadWarrior..To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time..the world was powered by the black fuel & the desert sprouted great cities..Gone now, swept away..two mighty warrior tribes went to war & touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel, they were nothing..thundering machines sputtered & stopped..Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice

Nice choice BTW with the Passat. We had a 2000 4motion wagon and it was a great car. Looking at parts prices at work for it, I'm glad we didn't keep it though. VW TDi's are one of the few modern cars I'd consider buying.

PERFECT! "Pun-ny" on at least two levels, and a moniker I'd not likely have thought of.
This second edition of "Name that GS Garage entry" is hereby closed.
Thanks for playing along.
