That's insane. $30,000 cash for a $8,000 truck, stole $70,000 form his home and the dudes had the balls to 'buy back' the guy's truck for a mere $1,200.

I just like going to the dealership and talk about all the specs of the engine and the design of the chassis and such. I get a kick out of the salesperson as they do their imitation of a bobble-head since they don't have a clue about the car they sell. Most salespeople can tell you what the sticker in the window says and that is about it.

thats what really bothers me about 99.99% of salesmen. the other .01% is one of my friends.

quick anecdote: he bought a 350z and came to the dealership to get one of the many things that went wrong with it checked out. the dealership decided to take care of it and he had to come back later to pick it up.

that afternoon he came back to pick it up and the techs were not ready yet. he decided it would be fun to test drive another z. the salesman he was talking to said he couldnt let him take the z and was bold enough to recommend that he would fit much better in a v-spec sentra. he went on with trying to convince him that its a better fit. then in the middle his argument as to why the sentra is a better buy the tech drove his car around front and gave him the keys. my friend thanked the tech and drove off.

stunned by the salesmans incompetance, he must have decided that there was a lot of money to make in car sales if idiots like that guy are making a living. he is now a successful car salesman. quite knowledgable as well.

but yea the rest of them are bloodsuckers.
