Drowning in 4 feet of water.
Ask any member of the 82nd Airborne if a paratrooper can drown in shallow water.

With a policy like that, I would have taken off my FD jacket, said "I'm going on break" and gone after the guy to save him. I could never just sit and watch someone perish.

Re: First Responders Embarrassed.....Or Should Be

Everybody's making it sound like it would be one-on-one rescuer/rescuee- wouldn't there be like 40 guys standing around watching? Would it even be possible for the rescuee to endanger them then? Lassoo the guy like a steer and drag him in.

Re: First Responders Embarrassed.....Or Should Be

details, yes? this local story...http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/06/04...-murder-trial/ making national news is missing details.

still, the mother knows something, whether she was involved or not. i'd give her the needle if she didn't confess to something of interest and use!
