Obama's Second Term

Seems to me the election of Barack Hussein Obama
to a second term as President of The United States of America
is strong evidence that having control of the peoples sources of knowledge
and information is a tremendous advantage.

what I see is an awful lot of people didn't want him to be President and if it wasn't for the screwy electorial college there would be a recount!

I don't understand why we keep using the electoral college system. It seems like popular vote would be more fair to everyone.

Seriously, investigate the reason for the Electoral College.

In fact glance at Red/Blue map. Without the Electoral College the red part would never have any representation.

Shatto- maybe we are talking about two different issues here- but my view is one person one vote for the presidential election. So, without the electoral college, all the individuals who voted red (or blue) would count as a red (or blue) vote in the final tally of millions of votes that decided the winner. With the electoral college system, it is possible for the winner to get a minority of the popular vote.
