man everyone I talked to does not recommend Nissan except those in the Nissanversa.org forums! haha although I guess you can't have buyers remorse when you just got the car

which nissan cars did you own out of curiosity? some say most were maintained very poorly before being switched off to other owners.

Let me tell you how much nissan sucks. We used to have 2 nissans and 1 honda. Now we have 3 hondas. That should tell you something.

Stick with your civic.

If you're really interested in the FIT @ CarMax, I can go look at it for you, but it sounds like your desire is waning...

Ugh... both of those are very doable... I'm just wondering if I should pay off my student loans first. My irrational side says I should buy this car now (either vegas or socal) but my rational side says to wait until next year when debt is paid off. It isn't like fits will ALWAYS be difficult to locate.

Matt: If you are adding to your "household" quantity, I would recommend paying off your loan's, first. Getting yourself into larger financial committment's, when you have the unknown's of a family is something that you should avoid, if you can. It comes down to a question of if you have to have it or if you'd just like to have it. If you have the luxury of it not being a issue, have to's are nice. If you are looking at more family member's, like to's are something you should avoid, if at all possible. JMO

I agree 100% on this. I have some debt I need to pay off before I splurge on something like this. Besides, I can get my sedan in nice shape for $100 or so. I'll do this and wait it out.
