Isn't an upside down American flag signify something about war but I did a quick google search and all it said it was a sign of distress. Mind explaining more about it and what you mean by it?

No matter what, everyone has their own opinions and they're entitled. To each his own.

THE FLAG CODE
Title 36, U.S.C., Chapter 10
As amended by P.L. 344, 94th Congress
Approved July 7, 1976

? 176. Respect for flag: No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.
(a) The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.
So that begs the question of what qualifies as dire distress which I won't go into for the purpose of this thread.

Anyway, it's about time to change it I suppose, so I give you a turtle!

I understood the flag...I've been feeling distressed and in danger for, oh, almost eight years now...

My daughter to me on the day President Clinton was elected, What are we going to do dad? Well daughter, tonight were are going to have steak dinner, you will go to school, play club volleyball, go to church. We will pray that this man will do a good job and lead our country well, because he is president for all Americans and should get our respect until proven otherwise. We, as a family will still be productive and happy. We can not let fear and anger rule our thinking. This worked well then as now. The world can be a cold hard place, so i am thankful we have this country with all the good and bad that goes with it.

I'd say your prayers were answered. Best economic growth period in history, first major tax cut since 1981, $70 BILLION surplus budget.

What happened?

Heck, He even tried to release oil from the strategic oil reserves, but the congress said no.
