folks have to be able to spot the fakes these days, or they will be believing all kinds of crazy stuff.

This has been making the rounds lately. Right after the wing comes off, you can see what looks like a bit of a mismatched outline that surrounds the plane. Also, the camera conveniently "loses" the plane momentarily just before the "accident" and just before the landing. It's been reported that it was a model plane replica. Also, notice how they seem to hide the fact that the wing is on the plane by shooting straight on at it. There also aren't any jagged edges.

The shot at the end where the guy is running to the plane makes it definately a fake. The shadows on his clothes and leg are cast in a different direction than the plane's shadow is cast. Also, they are careful to end the shot before his feet are in view, because then you would probably see that he is casting no shadow, because he was green-screened in.

On the other hand...........

1. Watch the entire video;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LveSc8Lp0ZE

2. Any aircraft you've seen flying 'the knife edge' where one wing is pointed to the sky, the other to the ground, gets all the lift from the fuselage and all control from the tail. Once in that attitude, most airplanes can fly that way.
