Surprised this morning....

Woke up this morning and looked out my window.

Saw something tucked under the driver's side wiper of my CRX. I figured that it was some type of campaigning material. Went out to get it and saw that it was an original owner's manual for my 88CRX!

Opened it up and on the inside front cover was filled in the original purchaser's information. I then found out that this was THE original owner's manual for my specific car, the VIN numbers matched.

There was no note, nothing. My only suspicion is that the gentleman that I purchased the car from just now found it and decided to drop it off to me.

Wow!! that's amazing, owners manuals always seem to disappear. Amazingly enough, I also have my original owners/service manual for my motorcycle and all the tools it came with!! Very amazing for a 30yr. old vehicle.

That's neat.

I did stuff like that to the guy who bought my old Accord.

After he took it, I kept finding things in the garage that went with it - colour match paint, battery warranty papers, etc.), and kept sticking it in the car or dropping it at his work.

(But it's a small city, so I see the car around pretty regularly.)
