Re: That's how I roll...

I assume it is ever so slightly too big to fit in the saddle bag?

I knew you had some redneck in you somewhere

lol

I imagine that there's a mount specifically made for regulation-sized hard briefcases...it's got to be a common need for Harley riders.

Re: That's how I roll...

The laptop by itself just barely fits in the bags. If the bags were 1/2 inch narrower it would not fit. The laptop was getting banged up riding unprotected in the bags though, and then walking in I had to juggle my helmet, laptop, charger, and mouse on the way in. The bungee cords hold it very securely. They're tight enough that the passenger seat compresses just a little bit. I would ride it to Florida strapped like that, confident that it would not fall off, but my office is only 2 -3 miles from home anyway.

Maybe there is a special mount for a briefcase, but the bag of bungee cords was only $5 @ Big Lots.

Re: That's how I roll...

buddy of mine has a '65 ford that is in about the same aesthetic shape as your truck but has a bored out 351 in it pushing 400hp to the wheels.

he suprises many a honda owner with that truck.

rednecks are awesome

(maybe someday I can work my way up to that title. lol)
