my dad used to have an olds mobile. I thought it was cool because it came with it's own cassette tape.

can't remember the song or artist but it went like this "there is a special feel in an olds mobile, dun-du-du-da"

also, it had a button for the trunk in the glove box and when I was young (maybe 8 yrs old) I pushed it going down the highway. luckily, we didn't have anything in the trunk but that thing was spring loaded and popped all the way up. I got in trouble for that one.

I know the song... The same tape came with my Grandfather's 1984 Delta 88. On the 1984 version of the tape it was Neil Diamond singing the Oldsmobile jingle...

Daddy's Oldsmobile had a quadraphonic 8 track. My wife's brother still has his 68 Pontiac GTO 389, now that's a piece of rolling real estate.
