There's only two days where I've seen real, and quite alarming anger about my efforts.

I put a bumper sticker on my rear which said "I get 65MPG...You?"
It was two days of sheer hell and I didn't want to deal with it anymore so on day 3 I removed it.

Problem solved.

What would happen? Did people yell at you, tailgate you, key your car, or all of the above?

Cool plate!

This has probably already been mentioned before, so sorry if it's a repeat. But I just saw this in a flyer for Crappy Tire this weekend:

Reg: $49.99

Never work for a hypermiler. "LED board illuminates when brake lights activate"

Society isn't entirely ready.

Biggest problem I have is the Political stickers on the back glass, but only close to election time. The GasSavers.org sticker requires a driver to be right on the bumper to see it (angled hatchback), so they figure it out and go around or follow on the highway out of curiousity.

People have to be ready to save fuel -- no way to force it. Advertising and have people visit this site when they're ready is the best way to go. I slip it in now and then in casual convo as well. We're fortunate right now that we're in a Green renaissance -- but -- (Trying to be as politically unbiased as possible), it's tough in the State in which I live to be "Green". Other states are tougher (especially in Oil-rich areas), I will admit.

Ha ha.

I don't think you could call yourself a "GasSaver" if you couldn't defeat that with a mod in about 10 seconds

Someone in another thread said something about making a bumper sticker:

"My car still gets double the mileage of your hybrid SUV"

A bit long, but great nonetheless
