Other cargo vans are bad too.

Seriously? You want me to do actual work with that thing? Is that little thing supposed to carry roofing supplies? I wouldn't count on it. Now, realistically, it's actually quite capable...but it looks like the pencil-necked geek of cargo vans.

The Dodge Ram Van that preceded it really suffered from aging, though. Unlike Ford, Dodge didn't often change little details to make it look updated, and for ten years I thought Dodge wasn't making them anymore and I was just seeing well-maintained old ones on the road.

GM abandoned their old-style van first and put out what looked like a 100% plastic minivan, slightly upsized but nowhere near work truck level. I guess I've gotten used to them, or maybe they've adjusted the look a bit, because they don't look so cheezy or small anymore.

HC, I have a 2000 1 ton GMC cargo van that's quite roomy, and drives extremely well. We use it like a shed on wheels. Poor van only goes a couple hundred miles a year. As long as the a/c is cold and the cruise still works I'm happy though.

I was wondering when somebody'd mention the Nano. I can see people viewing that as cute or ugly. Same with the Fortwo or the Yaris. I like them all better than my car.
