What is it -N- What do I do?

I don't know just whom to talk to, so I'll try y'all.

Sometimes, clicking on a email message, the message comes up along with a warning box, which reads;

File Download -Security Warning

From: img.mediaplex.com

I haven't seen specifically that before, but here's what I can figure from the data I have so far:
1. The message contains pictures that are processed or hosted by mediaplex.com.
2. They use javascript to resize the picture.
3. Your email client is trying to automatically run the javascript but has security that stops it.
4. Google tells me that mediaplex may be a nasty spamming company and that it's probably good that you're not running their script.

It's also possible that it's more nefarious than that, but with the data I have, that's what it looks like.

Can you post the message source code? If you're using a local email client program like Outlook, Thunderbird, or Eudora, you may be able to right click on the message and click "View source". If you're using a webmail service, there may be a button or an extended options menu.

Beware that the message source contains your email address, so you may want to filter that out before posting on a public forum.
