I agree, this isn't the place to debate prices. If you wish to purchase the car, send a PM and make an offer. If the price is too high, then the OP will either have to continue paying taxes, registration, and insurance on the vehicle, or lower the price.

Pay the aformentioned dude no mind.

I, for one, am lusting after this car and would be proud to own it for (near) the asking price. I am always on the lookout for HFs and VXes and I haven't seen an HF as clean as his in over a year. The car I am referencing was a red '90 and it sold for $7600 on eBay. HFs as clean and as low-mileage as this one are as rare as Bugatti Royales.

You'll get near what you're asking if you're patient.

Re: 1990 Honda CRX HF - 78,000 Miles

Hi, just wondering if this car sold for $6,000 or if it went for less. I'm finding that there are plenty of these available and price ranges are all over the place from $1500 to $8000. Trying to get an idea what the average price is.

Re: 1990 Honda CRX HF - 78,000 Miles

I had actually forgotten that I posted this car for sale!

For those interested, yes it is most certainly for sale. The asking price remains, though the condition of the car has changed slightly:

The trailing arm bushings are good, I have done absolutely nothing with the A/C, and the passenger front wheel bearing died last week. It has a couple of thousand more miles on it, I will get the exact mileage in the next few days (it is parked on base, waiting for the wheel bearing).

I replaced the 13" wheels with 15" Rota Slipstreams running Kumho tires. I did this simply because it was cheaper than replacing the 13" tires (craigslist special); I have 6 13" steel wheels that can go with the car as well (rotten tires on all of them).

No modifications have been performed on the car aside from the wheels, it still sits exactly as in the pictures. If someone is seriously interested, I would have no problem taking pictures of anything and everything they would like. In addition, terms for repair or compensation for not repairing issues can be worked out. I honestly prefer to sell as close to as-is as possible due to how busy I am, but will be happy to work with a buyer.

I would love to see this car go to a good home. My wife is now 6 months pregnant with our first child and we are shifting priorities. This car does not quite fit!

I have one offer and one PM; I am taking them in order.

To the Mod; you are very right regarding taxes, insurance, etc. That's the price of doing business!

Holy smokes, $6K, I knew I should have held on to the one I sold a few years back, it was SUPER clean (http://www.gassavers.org/showthread.php?t=9548)...oh well. Good luck with your sale, hopefully you will get top dollar so that will mean when I sell my bone stock CRX HF, I'll do the same!

$4+/gallon = Higher sales price for stock CRX HF's!!!

If you've got a bone stock CRX, I'd be interested in buying it if you really were serious about selling it. I can't pay $6,000 but I can buy pay a good price for it.

Re: 1990 Honda CRX HF - 78,000 Miles

I would be interested too but price is way too steep. I already found many between 2k-4k. 4k being even better condition then yours is meaning A/C is working, no mechanical issues and no accidents. Just not white which i want.
If you get A/C fixed and all mechanical issues this car will go, but price must be right. No one will pay you what you're asking.
