I don't think it's a cvcc, partly because it has a webber carb... they are nice little cars tho, personaly I like the more modern modles (1980 and newer), it seems like a good deal.

Probably because there are no exterior panels, just air where they once resided....before "the holes" that would need to be repaired before passing inspection? If the car's rust needs repair to even pass inspection, it must be pretty bad.

I thought '79 still had CVCC but I agree it probably doesn't act like one with the webber. IRCC the oem carb had 2 barrels, one with a lean mixture and one with a richer one...and a hand choke. The way-back machine is getting fuzzy though.
