92 civic vx for sale (ca model) - $3500

Hello hypermilers, I have a 92 civic vx up for sale. Runs great, awesome gas mileage. The original engine blew the head gasket, so I got a replacement engine - stock d15z1. It has a replacement engine from Nippon motors with approx 50 - 70k and a replacement transmission with approx 80 - 100k miles. The car has 160000 on the chasis. No grinds in trans and engine runs great. New brakes, timing belt, water pump, battery - everything is ready to go. I have the federal ECM, but never made the ca to fed switch. New o2 sensor. Love the car, but I want a motorcycle. Stock vx rims with wheel locks.

The car has a few issues, all minor like the locks don't work from the inside, probably from the previous owner putting stupid tint on the windows. Someone stole the emblem on the front. It has been in a front end accident before I got it, and you can tell if you look closely.

Thanks for looking!

clean car for the price. especially if it has a/c and you have a receipt for the motor and transmission.

It does have ac - but not currently in the car! The price is lower because I didnt want to try to get top dollar for a car that has been in a front end accident, and has a few issues like the seats torn, rear speakers dont work, door locks arent working etc. I might have the receipts for the engine and trans, but no promises until I track them down.

Car doesn't look bad for one with that's been in a front end accident. Must have been minor damage, right? Too bad it's not a 49-states model. Would sell quickly. How much would it cost to convert to a federal model?

The forums say that with the 92 CA model you can simply plug in the Fed ecm and badabing-badaboom, you have a fed model. The 93-95 CA models must have their harnesses and o2 sensors swapped. I bought the fed p07 ecm, but it doesnt let the car run right - my guess is there are additional mods you need to do to convert it.
