92 VX for auction in NH

For VX fans in the New England area, if you'd like a 1992 Honda Civic VX for parts or to fix up, there's one for auction at Capital Auto Auction in Manchester, NH. I just donated it to charity myself. It's a federal emissions model, one owner, 180,525 miles, white and has some bad rust spots like any 18 year old ungaraged New England car. It was running fine (last tank was 53 mpg) but the distributor just broke and one of the CV axle joints was making knocking noises in turns, so I decided to give it up and buy a new Honda Fit, since I wouldn't have time to do the repairs economically.

There's a JVC CD deck in it, and it has a full-size spare tire with a VX alloy wheel in the trunk, otherwise pretty much stock.

The vehicle is Stock number NGN801703. The VIN is 2HGEH2365NH520760. It's listed on their website capitalautoauction.com for the Manchester site, next auction at 11am Saturday (unless it was sold today 6-12-10).

Hope someone who appreciates VXs can pick it up and repair it, if so I'd love to hear about it. I'm gonna miss it.

VX removed from auction list

Looks like capitalautoauction.com has taken the VX off their listings today, but they also removed every other car they had that was listed for their "live/drive" auction yesterday 6/12/10. Only internet auction cars are left. So maybe the VX was sold, or maybe it's still there and will be relisted next week? Check back later in the week for the Saturday auction 6/19/10, I guess.
