Thinking of selling '94 VX

Just wondering opinions on how much my car is worth. Its a '94 white vx 5spd with a/c, 145k. The body isn't in great shape with rust above both rear tires. Brand new tires, New full exhaust, new o2 sensor, also did plugs/wires/cap/rotor/fuel filter. New drum/disks all around. Car has been nothing but reliable in the 18 months I've owned it. I was getting 48mpg summer and now around 40 with mainly city driving in this freezing weather. I was thinking of 2500-3000? Thanks for any opinions.

sounds fairly reasonable...
i struggled to get 1500 for my vx in 2005
but yes...more people know of them now since the gas hike...
and it surely seems the value has risen

Seems like a fair price especially with all the maintenance taken care of.

Personally though, I would keep it and be prepared for the summer when gas will skyrocket again.

Where you located? Also, got ANY noise difference when the clutch is pushed as compared to released? The input shaft bearing on hondas can be a problem. I just bought a HX that had a worn out input bearing with the same mileage as your car (I knew it and thats why I got it for 1k off the asking price).

depends...
if it makes more noise with the clutch pushed in...thats the throwout bearing
if its noisy with it released in neutral thats the input shaft bearing
which is the same issue we are already discussing...
a loose and jiggly input shaft also equals bad input shaft bearing...hence the noise...
