98 Civic HX in Maine $1600

This is not my vehicle just an ad I ran across on CraigsList, sounds like a heck of a deal.

If the link doesn't work then it is most likely gone.

Honda Civic HX 1998 for sale by owner. 151,000 miles, one owner. Standard transmission. Oil changed religiously every 3,500 to 4,000 miles over the entire life of the car. Engine runs perfectly. Kelly Blue book puts the value of the car between $2,500 and $2,800. Car runs well but needs about $600 of work done as there is a slow stearing fluid leak ($600 is approx. retail price to fix) and does not have Maine state inspection. It is an extremely reliable vehicle and gets EXCELLENT mileage. This car is being sold in AS IS condition. Cash only. Please email if you would like to have a look for yourself.

Hmm...steering fluid leak = manual steering conversion time?

That is what I was thinking, haha.

this could be a heck of a deal for someone who wants to do their own work on it.
