The Forkenswift thread has good tips on looking for baaaad rust on Metros, if I remember correctly....

Watch it in the front, where the A arms enter the car, and the the strut towers themselves.

My strut towers were good on my Metro I just sold - BUT - the rear sway bar mounts had rust as well as the radiator core support. Another place to check.
