Windows 7 for $29.99 for students

Valid until January 3rd, 2010.

Windows 7 Home Premium for $29.99 with a free upgrade to Professional if you need it.

You do need a valid college or university email address. My local community college email works just fine.

This is an EXCELLENT operating system and I recommend it if you can get it. I think it is faster and more stable than XP even.

Looks like this might be it:
http://www.win741.com/
http://windows7.digitalriver.com/sto...=1256553530951

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2352971,00.asp confirms it, and also remnds us that MSDNAA-member schools can offer it to their students for free.
