2008 jeep compass

review of the 2008 jeep compass

engine options-2.0/2.4 , 4 cylinders
transmission either in manual or auto
optional 4WD
MPG for automatic-23/27(2.0), 21/25(2.4)
4 door
type- sport utility vehicle

very incredible suv. good gas mileage, very fast for a 4 cyl, incredibly quiet trans and engine. small exterior and a very large interior. really good use of space.

I wished honda and toyota would put a 2.0 or 2.2 liter engine on their rav4's and crv's. with that setup getting 30mpg wouldnt be that hard, even with the automatic

I drove the 07 compass, and its a pretty nice ride, only thing i didnt like was the dash.... made of cheap plastic

I just drove a Jeep Compass and a Jeep Patriot about 40 miles each for work. I was able to hold 56 mph and about 1800-1900 rpm's on level ground. Niether vehicle had a trip computer so I can't give you MPG figures, but I have customers tell me they get as high as 27mpg hwy on 4X4 versions, but I don't know their driving habits or patterns.
