I really love the way it looks! I am of the same thought that I might actually buy one too, but I would have to sell my Ninja. In either case, the new one and the old one are fuel sippers.

I think the older ones would do 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds. FYI. (I had one too ) Slow, by sport bike standards, but faster than any car I've driven.

No idea if the performance has been updated as well.

holy crap! they're finally updating the ninja 250! I thought I'd never live to see the day that happened! That thing's been neigh unchanged for the last decade, that's why it never made sense to buy a new one, they looked just the same as the old ones, but cost twice as much as a used 250. And they even went to a single can exhaust, count me impressed.

i still think something like that should be able to get 100mpg with the right gearing and fuel injection.

i dont know, i just think that there is so much more that could be done with that bike than what kawasaki has done with it.

the 0-60 time is quick, but after than it loses all of its steam, i mean really, has a factory 250 ninja run anything faster than a 15sec quarter mile??

If 0-60 is good then it is more than fine for commuting, especially if it has 100mpg potential. I wouldn't be taking a 250 to a drag race anyway?!?

flushmounts, undertail, and mirror delete, along with a couple power mods (re-jet, exhaust, and portmatching) and that thing would be badass. look way better, and probably knock almost a second off the 1/4
