Budget & Progress Update:

400 - Scoot + packaging and such (shipping still undetermined)
32.75 - Motorcycle torque wrench
25.50 - Spineless manual
-20.95 - Sold manual (made copy for myself)
FREE - Variator roller weights
7 - Second manual
--------------
445.30 - Total

The shipping charges are still a bit undetermined, I need to figure them out, but they'll prolly come out to 80.

So...

525ish paid for things.

Now that I'm parting it out, my financial outlook is such...

-25 - Selling manual
-45 - Selling muffler
-50 - Selling trailing arm housing
-135 - Selling plastics
---------------
270 - Including the wrench, which I don't think should count, so...
237.25 - And I still have the engine (which I hope to get 250 for).

So hopefully I won't have screwed myself too bad.

Boo me for this silly deal.

why are you parting it out already? did I miss something somewhere?

If I was wanting a small bike/scooter to cruise around in I would get something like a LF200GY-2 at http://motoxtreme.net/994.html for $1300 delivered. It gets a pretty reliable 85mpg and seems to be pretty solid once you loctite all the bolts when you get it.

A friend of mine is ordering one of those bikes July 2nd, after the personal property taxes are done for the year to avoid having to pay an extra year on the taxes. I will let everyone know how he likes it prob at the end of July.

I need the money to go to nihon and would rather just get rid of the thing now,

I'll be saving up for a honda cbr 125r or nija 250r...
