New but interested

I am new to the world of HHO, but interested in learning. My vehicle is an 07 GMC Sierra with a supercharger and a few other modifications. Will HHO work with a supercharger. The more I read the more I feel that a kit would be the simplest installation for me. Can I have some recommendations on kits? Is anyone familiar with the kits from HHO Kits Direct?

I have a way to double (possibly tripple) your mileage given your vehicle and the mods done to it. it will cost you about $2K. buy a beat up little honda, cavalier, corolla, escort, or small car of your choice. these are proven to get good mileage. if I had to guess, you are probably in the single digit MPG or very low double.

personally, I have yet to see any credible evidence that HHO has done anything for anyone other than the guy selling it. please don't take this as a hater just hating. but do some unbiased research. none of our regulars on here play with it (maybe one or two) and none of the ones with huge numbers have anything to do with it. they mostly stay out of the conversation.

Indeed. There's legions of experimenters buying plans and kits from snake oil salesmen or reading theory and building their own stuff for free, but none of them produces credible results. With all the effort and investment that's gone into it over the many years, you'd think SOMEBODY would have gotten it right (including credibility, documentation, ability to demonstrate, and ability for others to duplicate).

I've seen reports from a few people who built their own without purchasing any plans or kits; these people, with their thorough study, seem to have the best chance of producing any results at all...but they usually seem to be experiencing placebo effects.

when I started on here, I had a truck that got around 17-18 mpg. I had already purchased my car but it was using this principle. my car (though it does vary) gets in the neighborhood of 35 mpg and cost me $2000 had it 7ish years and 110k+ of my miles (207,000 total on the clock)

regardless, it is always good to have a spare car.

Agreed...compared to that truck, a cheap FE vehicle saves a LOT of money even after paying for extra insurance, taxes, etc, unless you only drive a few miles per week. Not only is it more fuel-efficient, but tires are way cheaper, as well as other maintenance. Even if you only drive enough miles for it to break even you get the advantages of a second vehicle.

Of course if I had a supercharged 2007 Sierra I might not want to leave home without it...how much is your quality of driving life worth?

The link http://mb-soft.com/public2/hydrogen.html Does NOT prove hho boost for a personal vehicle doesn't work; the entire page is devoted to hydrogen as a fuel.

Not so either that nobody has made it work. I did.

It would be best not to listen to the naysayers that have not tried it.
