You might want to use the search feature... most of this stuff has been covered before. After you've searched I'd be more than happy to answer the questions you can't find answers to.

I don't understand so it's true about the honda 1100rpm thing???

There is a link at the top of the forum that says "Search The Forums." You can use it to search the forums for information.

combine pulse and glide with hill coasting. As for the FI shutdown, unless I need to slow down, I find I gain more FE by clutch-in coasting than incurring the drag of letting the engine freewheel. If I do need to slow, or just check my speed while coasting, I pick an appropriate gear and let the engine spin (above 1400-1500 for me).
